Coaching

Use My Program with your coach

When a coach plans your training, everything they send lands in one place.

What My Program is

My Program is where you and your coach meet. It appears only when a coach has invited you or you have an active coach, so most members never see it. Open it from the account menu (tap your photo, top right): it sits below a line, with the other lenses such as My Performance. You can have one coach at a time, and your coach is an adult member who runs a club in the app.

It has five areas: Overview, Calendar, My Club, Messages and Privacy. On a phone they run along the bottom of the screen; on a computer they are in the sidebar. My Wellness (the person button at the top on a phone, the foot of the sidebar on a computer) takes you back to your own training whenever you like. A client's phone also has a My Program button at the top while you are in your own training.

The account menu on a phone with My Program ringed in the group below the line that holds the lenses.

Find and accept an invitation

When a coach invites you, you get a notification and an email, and a small blue envelope appears on your picture (on a computer, on the profile box at the foot of the sidebar) and beside My Program in the account menu. It is its own sign: the amber dot means your profile is unfinished, the blue envelope means a coach is waiting for an answer. Tap the notification and the invitation opens straight away, or open My Profile and tap Review invite in the Coach invite waiting note. An emailed link works once and lasts 14 days.

An invitation is for the email address your coach typed: the link only works for that address, so a forwarded link is refused. If you signed up with another address, ask your coach to invite that one.

A waiting invitation: the blue Coach invite waiting note, and a small envelope on your picture.

New to Club 1000+? Open the link in your coach's email. It opens your club's sign-up page with your email address already filled in. Add your name and a password, tick what your coach can see (nothing is ticked until you tick it, as below), confirm the usual age and terms boxes and the separate health data box, and tap Create account and join. You are signed in and in your coach's club straight away: there is no separate activation email, because the link already reached your inbox. Each link works once.

Already have an account? The same link opens Sign in: sign in with the invited address and the invitation opens for you to answer. Signing up on a club's own page without an invitation creates a Club 1000+ account only; your coach still needs to invite you.

Choose what your coach sees

The invitation lists exactly what your coach would see and lets you decide before you answer. Nothing starts ticked: tick Routines (your workouts), Nutrition, Weight, Body measurements or Progress photos for each thing you want your coach and the other coaches at the club to see. Your peptide log is never shared, and your coach never sees a food, weight or photo you did not tick. Tap Accept to join, or Decline to turn it down.

Accepting also puts you in your coach's club, so the club's name, colour and logo replace the Club 1000+ look for you. Leaving your coach takes you out of the club again.

Coaching is for adults only: if you have not yet confirmed you are 18 or over, the invitation asks you to do that in Account Management first.

Add your club to your Home Screen

Your club can have its own address, such as club1000plus.com/c/okafor-strength, which opens the app in your club's name, logo and colour. To put it on your phone like an app, open that address (or the app while you are signed in to your club) and add it to your Home Screen: on an iPhone tap Share, then Add to Home Screen; on Android open the browser menu and choose Add to Home screen or Install app. The icon and name are your club's; it is still the same app and the same account.

Signing out from it returns you to your club's page. If your club changes its logo or colour, an iPhone keeps the old icon until you add it again; Android and computers update by themselves. The Club 1000+ app from the App Store or Google Play keeps its own icon.

If you mistype the address you see Club not found, with any clubs whose address is close under Did you mean?. With nothing close, it takes you to the Club 1000+ sign-in after five seconds, unless you tap Stay here.

Overview

Overview opens with your coach's card: their name and club, and Today first. Today lists what your coach planned for you, with the program and day it belongs to (“Four Week Strength Base · Day 13”), whether it is Done, and a Start workout button when a routine is attached. If your coach put you on a program, a line tells you where you are in it (“day 13 of 28”).

The Message coach button sits beside it, with a number when there are messages you haven't read.

Overview: your coach, then today, where you are in the program, and your targets.

Upcoming schedule and your targets

Upcoming schedule lists the next two weeks: workouts your coach planned for a day (with the routine to open, if there is one) and appointments at a set time, shown on your own clock. If your coach set a reminder you are notified beforehand; appointments remind you 30 minutes before unless your coach chose another time.

Target macros shows your current calorie, protein, carb and fat targets. Open Nutrition takes you to your food log.

My Program Overview scrolled down: Upcoming schedule with the next planned workouts and appointments, then Target macros with calories, protein, carbs and fat.
Further down: the next two weeks, then the calorie and macro targets you are following.

Calendar

Calendar shows your own workouts and your time with your coach. Switch between Week and Month, step with Previous and Next, and tap Today to jump back. Each day has small marks under its date, and the key under the calendar says what each one means: a filled green dot is a workout you did, a grey ring is one that was missed, a dashed ring is a planned workout still to come, a diamond is an appointment with your coach, a drop is a day you reached your water goal, and a target ring is a day you hit your nutrition targets.

A planned workout is Done when you log a session on that day, and Missed when a past day has none. If you trained on another day, log the session on the day you actually did it (you can pick the date when you log) and it will read Done there. Appointments are marked Attended or No-show by your coach.

Water and nutrition marks only appear on days that have counted: a past day, or today once you mark it complete. A day hits its nutrition targets when its calories are close to the day's target (within 15 %, or 20 kcal on a small day) and its protein is at or above target. Your plan determines how far back these marks appear, as in the Yearly View. See Membership and billing for history limits.

Calendar: a week at a time, or a whole month, with each day marked Done or Missed.

Open a day

Tap any day to open its details: on a phone a sheet slides up over the whole screen, on a computer a pop-up opens. It shows each workout and appointment for the day, whether it is solo or with your coach, its time (on your own clock), its status, and the routine's targets. Start workout takes you to Workouts with that routine ready, and closing the sheet puts you back on the day you opened. Nothing opens by itself when you arrive, and nothing expands inline.

Tap a day to see its details: what is planned, its status, and the routine to start.

Messages

Messages is your private conversation with your coach, up to 2,000 characters a message, with emojis, likes and up to three attachments. Pictures show right in the conversation, and so do videos and voice messages. Use Attach for a photo or file (JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, PDF, TXT or CSV, up to 2 MB each) or a video (MP4, MOV or WebM, up to 5 MB); one message can carry up to 6 MB in all, and the × beside a staged file removes it before you send. Use Record to speak a voice message of up to 15 seconds: allow the microphone when asked, tap Stop when you are done (it stops by itself at 15 seconds), listen to it, then Send; Cancel throws a recording away. Use Emojis to insert an emoji. Tap the heart to like or unlike a message. Groups your coach creates appear above the direct conversation; opening one shows every participant, and everyone listed can read and reply. Only you and the coach who coaches you now can read it: not the head coach (unless they are your coach), not other coaches and not app administrators. When you send a direct message, your coach is told once with a notification that never carries the message text; when they reply the bell and your notifications tell you, and Read shows under a message once your coach has seen it. Your messages stay in the conversation and in your data export; when coaching ends, neither side can send.

The page remembers a half-written message if you switch areas.

The Messages area: a private conversation with Sam Okafor, with a message box, Attach, Record and Emojis buttons and a Send button, and a line saying only you and your coach see these messages.
Messages: a private thread with your coach, as a page of its own.

Message your coach from anywhere

Message coach opens the same conversation as a sheet over any other area of My Program, so you can ask about a workout without leaving it. It is the button on your coach's card on Overview, and the speech bubble at the top of the screen on a phone. Closing it returns you to where you were. On the Messages page itself the button is hidden, because you are already there.

While the page is open, a new message from your coach shows as a notification if you allowed them; ask for permission with Notify me in the thread. The Android app raises the same alert itself, and a message that arrives while the app is closed waits in the bell.

Message coach opens the same conversation over whatever you are looking at.

My Club

My Club shows what your coach set up for the whole club. At the top are the club's name and logo, with buttons for the club website, its Instagram profile and Refresh, and when the posts were last updated.

Today's workout comes next, in full (or the latest one, if the club hasn't posted today). Log this WOD opens a new WOD on Workouts with the workout's name and text filled in, ready for your score; View on club site opens the original post.

Below it, Workouts lists the club's earlier posts — tap one to read it in full inside the app. If your coach added the club's Instagram profile, an Instagram tab shows it instead; if Instagram cannot show the profile there, the Instagram button at the top still opens it. Refresh checks for new posts; if a refresh fails your last posts stay on screen, and an empty page says so. There is no club picker: your club is your coach's.

My Club: today’s workout first, then earlier workouts or Instagram.

Privacy

Privacy is where you change what you share after you have accepted. Untick anything and your coach stops seeing it as soon as the change saves; if saving fails, the last saved ticks come back. Unticked categories say Not shared to your coach, never a zero. If Workouts is ticked, all your workouts are shared with your coach, including workouts kept private on the feed. These settings only control coach access; feed sharing is separate. Peptides are never shared with your coach. The list of who looked is not kept: nobody records when a coach views your data.

Leave coach ends the arrangement, stops all sharing and takes you out of the club. Planned workouts ahead are cancelled; routines already copied to you stay yours, and you can still use or delete them.

The Privacy area: Choose which data your coach and authorized coaches at their club can see, with Workouts, Nutrition and Weight ticked and Body measurements and Progress photos unticked, and a Leave coach button.
Privacy: change what you share at any time, or leave your coach.

Your coach’s workouts in Workouts

Today's coaching also appears at the top of Workouts, where it shows only the workouts your coach planned for today. Appointments stay in My Program. Start workout opens the exact routine, and Resume workout carries on where you stopped. If your coach planned two or three sessions for the day, each one has its own button: each routine you start gets its own card in Workouts, keeps its own progress, and reads Completed once all of its exercises are saved — starting the evening session never resets the morning one. Your coach's sets, reps, load and rest are filled in for you as targets; you record what you actually did, and an exercise counts as completed only once you save it — opening or closing the form never completes it.

On Workouts, Today shows only the workouts your coach planned for the day.

Routines from your coach

Routines your coach assigns appear in Workouts → Routines, marked From Coach with the sets, reps, load and rest beside each exercise. It is your own copy: you can start it or delete it, but only your coach can change it, and when they push an update your copy follows. To make a version of your own, log the session and use Save as routine.

The Routines sheet listing routines each marked From Coach Sam Okafor, with their exercises and targets and a Start button.
Routines from your coach carry a From Coach label and their targets.

When your coach pauses or schedules your plan

Your coach can give a routine a start date and a last day, and pause a routine or a program. A routine outside its dates, or paused, stays in Log → Routines with a line such as Starts Oct 20, Ended Nov 30 or Paused by your coach until Oct 24, and its Start is off until then. A paused program shows paused on day 4 in My Program; when it resumes you pick up on the same day, so it ends a little later. If your coach turned on automatic progression, a routine’s target load goes up by their step once you complete all its sets at the top of the reps, and the routine shows the new target the next time you start it.

Nutrition targets from your coach

Your coach can recommend calorie and macro targets. They appear at the top of your Nutrition day as “{coach} recommends”, with your current target beneath. Use these makes them your targets from today; Keep mine changes nothing. Nothing is ever applied for you. The app never sets fewer than 1,200 calories a day for women or 1,500 for everyone else: if a recommendation is lower, your target is raised to that minimum, with the plan's own macros, and the card says so. You need to have set up Nutrition before you can answer one.

The Nutrition day with a card reading Sam Okafor recommends 2,185 kcal a day, with protein, carbs and fat, a note, and Use these and Keep mine buttons.
A recommendation waits on your Nutrition day until you answer it.

Coaching reminders

Coaching can nudge you when something is still to log: at 8 pm (your own clock) if you follow targets you accepted from your coach and have logged no food that day, and two hours after a planned workout's time (8 pm if it has no time) if you have logged no session that day. Those are the defaults: your coach can adjust the food time, workout delay or untimed-workout time for you, or pause either automatic reminder. Logging first means no reminder; your coach can also switch the nudge off for a workout. The nudge gently asks “How was your workout? Don’t forget to record it!”. Your coach can also create one-time, daily or weekday reminders for you or your group, with optional quiet hours; an occurrence inside that window waits until it ends. Upcoming custom reminders appear in Messages. Appointment reminders are 30 minutes before by default and can be changed on each event.

The Coaching group in Account Management → Notifications → Push notifications has one switch for each kind: Coach messages, Coach calendar reminders and Coaching reminders. Turn any off there, and it stops on every channel. Email is a separate tick in the Email part of the same screen and is off until you turn it on. In the Android app the alerts come from the app itself, even when it is closed.

Ask ChatGPT about your schedule

With Club 1000+ connected to ChatGPT (and coaching turned on in the connection), ask it “What does my training schedule look like?” and it reads your coach's name, your program and your upcoming workouts and appointments — the same as Calendar. It never reads your messages or privacy settings.

On a computer

On a computer the sidebar changes while you are in My Program: the five areas replace the usual list, and My Wellness at the foot takes you back. Everything works as on a phone, except that a day's details open as a pop-up and Log Workout stays at the top.

Common questions

Can my coach see everything?

No — only what is ticked under Privacy in My Program, and never your peptide log. Untick anything and they stop seeing it once the change saves.

The app asked whether to keep sharing with my coach

If you joined your coach before 21 October 2026, Routines, Nutrition and Weight started ticked for you. When the app asks for your health-data consent, it lists what your coach sees: tick Keep sharing to carry on, or leave it unticked and sharing stops (you keep your coach). You can tick boxes again any time under Privacy.

I was invited by a coach but can't find the invite

Look for the small blue envelope on your picture in the top corner: tap it, then My Program (also marked with the envelope). The invite is at the top, under Review invite. It shows only on the account that uses the email your coach invited; if you signed up with a different email, ask your coach to invite that one.

My invite link says it expired

Invite links work once and last 14 days. Ask your coach to resend it from their Invites list.

My invite link says it was sent to another address

An invite link only works for the email address your coach typed, shown masked (for example n•••@example.com). Sign up or sign in with that address, or ask your coach to invite the address you use.

Why do my emails say my club’s name and Club 1000 Plus?

When you are in a club, the app's emails to you come in your club's name, with both logos, because they are sent from club1000plus.com. Billing, receipts and Club 1000+ announcements stay Club 1000+.

Why can't I edit my coach's routine?

A routine marked From Coach is your coach's plan, so only they can change it; when they do, your copy is updated. You can still load it, log it your own way, or delete it. To make your own version, log the session and use Save as routine.

My video won't send, or Record is missing

A video must be 5 MB or smaller (MP4, MOV or WebM) and photos and files 2 MB or smaller; the message says which limit it hit. A phone camera video is often larger, so trim it or record a shorter one. Record only appears when your browser can record, and it needs the microphone: if it says the microphone is blocked, allow it for this site in your browser settings (in the Android app, allow the microphone for the app, and update the app if it still refuses). Voice messages are up to 15 seconds.

Can the head coach or the club read my messages with my coach?

No. Only you and the coach who coaches you now can read your messages — not the head coach (unless they are your coach), not other coaches, and not app administrators. If you move to another coach you start a new conversation with them.

Why did I get a "No food logged today" or "How was your workout?" reminder?

Your coach set nutrition targets you accepted, or planned a workout for you, and nothing was logged yet: food by the reminder time, or a session after the workout delay your coach selected (defaults: 8 pm for food/untimed workouts and two hours after a timed workout). Log it and the reminder won't come again for that day. To stop them, untick Coaching reminders in Account Management → Notifications (push and email are separate ticks; email is off unless you turned it on).

A workout on My schedule says Missed, but I trained

A planned workout is done when a session is logged on that day. Log the session on the day you trained (you can pick the date when you log), and it will read Done.

My coach recommended fewer calories than the app set

The app never sets a daily target below 1,200 calories for women or 1,500 for everyone else. If you use a lower recommendation, your target is set to that minimum instead, with your plan's own macros.

My coach planned two workouts today. Can I do both?

Yes. Tap Start workout on each one when you get to it. Every routine you start has its own card in Workouts with its own progress and Clear, so finishing or clearing one never changes the other, and each reads Completed on its own once all its exercises are saved.

Can I have more than one coach?

No — one coach at a time. To change coach, use Leave coach in Privacy and accept the new invitation, or ask the head coach of your club to reassign you; you then start a new conversation with the new coach.

Can my coach see my peptide log?

No. Peptides are never shared with a coach, and there is no setting that changes that.
